"Dr. Ogilvie has been our family physician since he began his practice almost 10 years ago. When we became aware of the change in structure in his practice, the formation of Vantage Physicians, we were initially disheartened. We felt that financially it would not be beneficial to us.
Since office calls were already covered by our health insurance it seemed like we were paying twice for the same service. We came very close to changing doctors and had even scheduled an appointment with a new Doctor.
When the time came to change, we changed our mind and signed up with Vantage for one simple reason initially. Dr. Ogilvie was our doctor and a valued part or our family's support system. We trust him; we relate to the way he speaks to us but most of all, our history was with him. He is an excellent Dr. with a very unique, comforting style.
We have come to understand the value of the concept. First, it saves us money. We are busy and our time is valuable. This concept has eliminated our need to drive to his office as much as 80% of the time. We have been able to handle routine things over the telephone or email. We have found the additional time he has to spend with us invaluable. Because this is so very different from a typical practice it can be hard to relate to. As I look back at what I may have spent this money on, and compare it to the value in this program, I am proud of the decision we made. It is worth every penny.

In addition, shortly after we signed up, we were impacted with a serious illness in our family. We do not know how we could cope without the services Vantage provides. "This practice, this new business model, and these doctors are the answer to my prayers! Frankly, they are the answer to everyone’s prayers, especially those with multiple or difficult to diagnose conditions.
It is so refreshing, and such a relief, to be able to sit down with your doctor and take the time that’s needed to address your issues fully. There is time to focus on the patient rather than some unrealistic, frenetic schedule. You can actually build a relationship with your doctor! Shocking, but true! This approach promotes thoroughness and is conducive to better analysis, diagnosis, and treatment of the patient and particular conditions. In addition, the nurses, staff, and lab tech (it’s so convenient to have a lab tech on site!) are a terrific team. They are knowledgeable, helpful, supportive, and kind. They are so accessible, both in person and on the phone. And a person answers the phone – not those frustrating and impersonal electronic phone trees. How cool is that?! This is a group of top-notch professionals. I see Dr. Kershisnik. She is kind, caring, compassionate, reassuring and smart, smart, smart. I always learn something new from her. She is insightful, resourceful, motivated, and relentless in the pursuit of answers and diagnoses. Dr. K is current with the latest medical developments and is especially good at diagnosing elusive, difficult, and complicated cases. I know this from personal experience – she succeeded where a host of other doctors failed or gave up trying. She is excellent at integrating disparate types of information and is clear and straightforward. She is open-minded to alternative disciplines and is very knowledgeable in nutrition and supplements – so necessary these days. She is supportive and encouraging – so much more effective than the remote and authoritative approach adopted by so many doctors. Erin and her staff have dramatically improved the quality of my life and I could not be more grateful."

"Are you frustrated with calling your physician and not getting past the receptionist, needing to get answers from the physician but never able to connect with him or her? How about the doctor office that you only have a machine answer which has you press all of the numbers and then to still never able to speak with a real live operator let alone the nurse of the physician?
